Chapter Scholarships and Awards

- Josephine Beeching Memorial Scholarship--This scholarship is granted annually by the members of the Anasazi Chapter, NSDAR, and will be presented after May 1 of each year to an eligible high school senior as a one-time award. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, residing within Maricopa County, Arizona, and preparing to attend a college within the Maricopa County Community College system. Applicants must have demonstrated leadership, participated in school and community activities, and applied scholastic effort in order to be considered. Applications are due by April 15.

- DAR Good Citizens Awards--These are given to outstanding high school seniors for their contributions to their communities and schools.
- DAR Youth Citizenship Medals--These are presented to children in grades 5-11 who are dedicated to honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism.
- JROTC Medals--These are awarded to high school student cadets of outstanding ability and achievement.
- Outstanding Work in American History Award--This is given to high school juniors for excellent achievement in American history.
